From a young age, Millie Manning has been in touch with music. An avid lover of The Beatles and many others, she was raised singing and playing the piano. At age thirteen, the peak of her adolescent angst, she reached a turning point in her life, when she progressed from singer to songwriter, and began writing her own original pieces. During high school, Manning joined the chorus and quickly excelled to selective groups. A member of Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, A Cappella and Tri-M, a music honor society, by her junior year, she had found her place in her school. Additionally, outside of school, Millie joined a band which gave her the opportunity to perform outside of talent shows. That same year she began the initial recording for her debut album Kaleidoscope. The album wrapped soon after she started her senior year in high school. |
